Northern Iraq was surprisingly calm and friendly, much different than the situation where I usually was while there. It was a nice break from everything to get to go up there for a few days, I think I will add Turkey to my list of places to go. Anyhow, welcome back :-) Welcome back slacker :-p

Sounds like you had a good time in Turkey, closest I have ever been to there was a few missions to the far northern parts of Iraq when I was deployed there a few years back. Northern Iraq was surprisingly calm and friendly, much different than the situation where I usually was while there. It was a nice break from everything to get to go up there for a few days, I think I will add Turkey to my list of places to go.
